Poets’ Circle is a Guild issued a Royal Warrant by Lord British. We are a collective of musicians, storytellers and patrons of the arts. This Roster is meant to help you connect with us, if you are interested in collaboration or have specific questions or comments for individual members of the Guild. Would you like to be listed as a member? We require our members of rank to provide a high resolution profile picture or crest, and a write-up about themselves. Kailef
Guild Master & Grand Duke Jarrod Kailef, Lord of the Manor, Narrator, Voice Actor & Percussionist
Jarrod Kailef is Poets’ Circle’s current Guild Master. He speaks for the guild and conducts daily operations. He is a well traveled Wordsmith with a deep and diverse cornucopia of fascinating stories to tell. His skill set is rather eclectic, including such talents as master martial arts instructor, radio disk jockey, computer network engineer, ex police officer, percussionist, MUD coder, voice actor, and veteran guild leader. He received membership to the Order of the New Britannian Empire on September 4th, 2014.

The Council of Masters is made up of the ruling Houses of Poets’ Circle.
Members of the Council of Masters have typically exemplified some area of Poets’ Circle’s milieu, and have proven to be capable community leaders. Master Bards fill the traditional role of ‘guild officers’, and may found Houses, the equivalent of sub-Guilds. Houses possess the authority to head up creative projects on their own initiative, and have priority tasks delegated to them. The Council votes on issues of importance to the Guild.

Dame Amber Raine, Conspiracy of the New Britannian Empire, Avatar’s Radio by Royal Warrant, High Priestess of Chaos, Master Bard

Amber has gone through extraordinary efforts to bring about Avatar’s Radio, and the community has gathered around the cause of music for music’s sake. Guests frequently appear on radio, including FireLotus herself! She is in charge of orchestrating the Canadian Chaos Tour.

Sir Richard Daskas, Composer, Violinist, Knight.
Richard is an aspiring video game and film composer, recording artist and violinist. Along with his sister, Cecilia, the music duo released their debut album, Henri, under the name, Umu, in 2012. Henri combines electronic and pop music styles in a kaleidoscopic wheel of complex rhythmic layers, simple melodic gestures and noise elements. When not creating music in the studio, Richard enjoys playing video games and cooking.

Bards have a proven record of creative contribution to Shroud of the Avatar, and have demonstrated a high level of skill in their contributions. This is the majority of the Guild’s membership. Bards frequently assist Masters on specific projects.

Peter Boiko, Musician, Songwriter, Composer.
Peter is an aspiring musician/songwriter who tries to make music happen in his home studio when his soul isn’t getting sucked out of him during his 9-5 job. He has contributed a few songs to the Shroud of the Avatar and hopes to continue to do so until release. He also writes and produces music in other genres including rock, metal, and hop hop as well as plays keyboards for The Americans UK.

Apprentices are members who are actively seeking to make a name for themselves and contribute to expanding the Guild with their unique individual accomplishments! They are given special attention from the other ranks, so they have access to the help they need to succeed.

Duke-Apprentice Greagoir, the Ringtone Bard
Duke Greagoir has been a bard at heart since he was 5 years old and started playing the piano. His contributions to the Guild is making ringtones from the beautiful works of our membership. Other contributions to SotA include: Offering a place of community where druids and bards can come together to learn about the Celtic contributions to society (Celtic Order of Druids and Bards), and creating an online flash card learning system to learn the New Britannia Runic language at www.sotamuseum.com.

Volteau is inspired by the nostalgia of music from Ultima, and is an obsessive and driven composer. He is a passionate philosopher interested in ethics. He is always there to back his brothers and sisters in the Guild, whether it be in arms or composition. His aim is to create some of the most memorable tunes in SHroud of the Avatar so he can give back the inspiration given to him so very long ago by Lord British games.
